Where to collect
The vending machines can be found at a total of 108 locations all across Singapore.
How to collect
From April 12th to April 25th, bring along your Singapore Power (SP) Utilities bill and your own empty bottles (Note: they have to be shorter than 23cm and not wider than 11cm!)
You may scan the unique QR code printed at the top of your bill (they can be found on bills dated March / April 2021) or manually key in your bill number on the touchscreen.
The machine will then generate a #BYOB bottle label and the sanitiser will be dispensed.
Regardless of one or two bottles, the machine will dispense a total of 500ml per household.
Temasek Foundation stated in a press release that automating the entire process of mixing the sanitiser concentrate with water and the collection of the sanitisers minimises the possibility of human interaction, as compared to the more labour intensive process in the first #BYOBclean initiative. A self-collect system also allows extended collection hours at the convenience of residents.
