43,000 households affected due to COVID-19 pandemic

Image Via HDB 85% of ongoing BTO (Built-To-Order) flats have been delayed by at least 6 to 9 months beyond the ECDs (Estimated Completion Dates), due to COVID-19. Construction of all ongoing BTO projects has resumed, following Phase 2 of the Circuit Breaker lockdown in 2020. Project timelines will still be affected due to manpower shortage, global supply chain and safety measurement within the industry. Those who are unable to find alternative housing are encouraged to contact HDB for assistance.
